Valve - controls the passage of gas or liquid ; Each valve has a purpose. Inflammation of heart valves (endocarditis) 
Bradycardia - abnormal slow heart rate Brady- is slow; Abnormal heart rates can be fast or slow
Platelets - cells that help slow or stop bleeding ; When platelets clump together when not needed this can lead to blood clots causing a clot in different parts of the body like legs, lungs or brain 
Aspirin ; The drug interferes with blood clotting, so you may bleed more. It's a balance to prevent clots.
Coagulate - fluid becomes semi solid or solid Yogurt is formed when milk goes from liquid to semi solid
Anticoagulant - prevents liquid from becoming solid
Plaque - sticky deposits 
Aorta - main artery of the body that leaves the heart carrying oxygenated blood ; The aorta can develop a tear where it ruptures.
Stenosis - narrowing ; Heart vessels begin to narrow with plaque deposits 
Regurgitate - return or come back the same direction ; Blood flows one way and should not get backed up.

Ischemic lack of blood flow ; Poor blood flow can cause tissue damage
